Our house has a long history. Originally built in the 1880s as accommodation for construction workers on the Brünig railway, it eventually became a guesthouse where travellers have enjoyed stopping for decades on their way over the Brünig Pass. Here, they recharge their batteries for the rest of their journey and marvel at the unique view of peaks and valleys.

In 2018, we—the Lucerne based G&P Group—took over the Brünig Kulm guesthouse. This historic building has ever since been a place of enjoyment and a meeting point for both travellers and locals. We are constantly enriching the wonderful tradition of cordial hospitality with fresh ideas. Our aim is to preserve what is good and gently renew the outdated. With a great deal of commitment and attention to detail, we strike a balance between tradition and modernity. The Brünig Kulm guesthouse has thus become a place of history and the future.

Warm hospitality, sustainable practices, and close ties to the region are very important to us. We rely on local partners, regional products, and a homely atmosphere in which all guests feel welcome.

Discover our bijou for yourself. Whether for a quick visit, a cosy dinner, or a longer stay, we look forward to your visit.

Affectionate regards
